List of Free & Open Source Proxy Servers
I got this list from Wikipedia. Can’t guarantee how safe ANY of these sites are. I’ve tried the open-source Tor free proxy but had my Gmail a/c hacked and $400 worth of clicks racked up on my Google Adwords a/c (which Google refunded) so I don’t recommend using a free proxy. Have a look at Identity Cloaker which I review elsewhere on this site. 30 cents day for US Government standard Top-Secret encryption for surfing the net anonymously and securely. You can get a FREE DEMO by Clicking Here. And it costs just $9 a month – 30 cents a day

The Free Proxer Server Scam
Do you know how a lot of these so-called free proxy servers work?
The sort of “free” proxy servers you use on your web browser. You know what they are? Misconfigured software running on someone’s servers. That someone unintentionally allowed unrestricted access to the proxy server he/she attempted to configure properly but failed at, because it’s not a simple task.
They probably have no idea their server is compromised until the bandwidth blows right out. If you’re currently using one of these “free proxy servers” you may in fact be stealing someone elses bandwidth.
